扇 - ōgi(Folding fan) This piece is distinguished by its warm orange tones and gold with a subtle hint of green. Within the obi’s soft ivory base, layers of bright, fresh color come together to create a light and graceful elegance. The Michinaga-kissho pattern features flowing curved bands reminiscent of clouds or mist, filled with auspicious motifs, and has long been appreciated as a classical design that combines courtly refinement with a celebratory spirit. By shaping the obi into a form with two connected fan-like folds, I created a composition with a sense of flow and graceful expansion. The woven gold shimmer is accented by purple and blue cords, bringing a clean impression and gentle color to the space where it is displayed. あたたかな橙色と、ほのかにグリーンを帯びたゴールドが印象的な一枚です。やわらかなアイボリーを基調とした帯の中に、明るさとみずみずしさを感じさせる色合いが重なり、上品さの中に軽やかな華やかさを添えています。道長吉祥文様は、雲や霞のようにたなびく曲線の中に吉祥文様を配した意匠で、雅やかさとおめでたさをあわせもつ古典柄として親しまれてきました。そこに扇がふたつ連なるかたちを重ねることで、流れるような動きと広がりのある造形に仕立てました。織り込まれた金の輝きに、紫と青の紐が静かなアクセントを添え、空間にすっきりとした印象とやさしい彩りをもたらしてくれる一枚です。
