船路円文 -Roundels of Boats and War Fans- This piece is defined by the striking contrast of black and gold, with roundels featuring motifs such as war fans and boats standing out vividly across the obi. The war fan is often associated with victory and decisiveness, while the boat suggests forward movement, departure, and the richness of travel and exchange. Making use of the varied imagery contained within each roundel, I added a full, three-dimensional central knot to create a form that carries both depth and quiet tension within its brilliance. The vivid combination of red, black, and gold gives the work a poised and memorable presence, bringing a celebratory energy to the space where it is displayed. 黒地と金の力強いコントラストの中に、円文として配された軍配や船の意匠が印象的に浮かび上がる一枚です。軍配は勝負運や決断力、船は前進や旅立ち、豊かな往来を思わせる文様として親しまれてきました。円の中に多彩な意匠が収まりながら展開する帯の表情を生かし、中央にはふくらみのある立体的な結びを添えることで、華やかさの中に緊張感と奥行きが感じられるかたちに仕上げました。赤、黒、金の鮮やかな配色が空間に凛とした存在感をもたらし、飾るたびに晴れやかな気配を添えてくれる作品です。
