御所車 -Gosho Guruma- (Heian Court Carriage) This piece was created by highlighting the gosho guruma motif against a deep black ground, with overlapping folds and the brilliance of gold coming together to create a work of dignified elegance. Gosho guruma, or Heian court carriages, are a classical motif associated with the refined world of the imperial court, evoking grace, splendor, and an auspicious celebratory atmosphere. By pairing this elegant motif with a dynamic three-dimensional composition, I aimed to further bring out its timeless beauty and strong presence. 深い黒地に映える御所車の文様を生かし、金の華やかさと重なり合う折りの立体感によって、格調高い一枚に仕上げた作品です。 御所車は、平安の雅やかな暮らしを思わせる古典意匠のひとつで、気品や華やかさ、晴れやかな吉祥の趣を感じさせます。 その優美な文様に動きのある構成を重ねることで、古典柄ならではの美しさと存在感がいっそう引き立つように表現しました。
