金霞の景 -Golden Haze Landscape- This piece was created from an obi featuring a landscape motif layered with soft ivory and shimmering gold, shaped into two connected fan-like forms to express a graceful sense of flow. Landscape motifs suggesting houses, trees, mountains, and waterside scenery have long been appreciated as designs that evoke peaceful living, the abundance of nature, and a sense of harmony and fulfillment. The three-dimensional rhythm of the repeated fans echoes the expansiveness of the scene, creating a work that feels both serene and gently radiant.
