唐獅子 -Karajishi- (Chinese Guardian Lion) This piece was created by pairing the powerful motif of a Chinese guardian lion with the lively movement of maidama. The Chinese guardian lion has long been cherished in Japanese decorative art as an auspicious motif symbolizing protection, warding off evil, and dignified strength, and its majestic form carries both power and refinement. Against a quiet black base, I aimed to highlight both the three-dimensional structure and the delicate accents of color. I hope you can feel the unique charm of this obi, where weight and lightness exist together. 力強い唐獅子の意匠に、舞玉の華やかな動きを添えて仕上げた作品です。唐獅子は古くから、魔除けや守護、威厳を象徴する吉祥文様として親しまれており、その堂々とした姿には気品と力強さが宿ります。黒を基調とした静かな佇まいの中に、立体的な構成と彩りが映えるよう意識しました。重厚さと軽やかさが同居する、この帯ならではの魅力を感じていただけたら嬉しいです。
